Should I Use HubPages or Squidoo

HubPages Rocks
How would I (a very non-technical, everyday, kinda guy) compare HubPages and Squidoo?
Well the short answer is HubPages rocks and Squidoo sucks.
I have a few blogs so as you can see I'm not totally technically challenged, hell I've even built a few websites with WYSIWYG website builder, of course (ok I'm a little bit challenged).
I just find HubPages really easy to work with (it is partially due to the fact I'm use to the way things work), but everything is explained in very easy to understand terms. From start to finish all the steps in writing and publishing a hub is very straightforward and easy to understand even for a novice.
Squidoo on the other hand sucks, I mean, I couldn't seem to get anything accomplished very easily. The whole website seemed confusing, and frustrating! I tried making several lenses, so I gave it a go, but finally gave in and gave up! The name "Squidoo" will never again be found in my bookmarks.I left with my last lens, titled Squidoo sucks, I looked at tags just to see if I were alone in that assessment, I wasn't.
I know opinions are like......well everyone has one ok, and I know there's millions of people out there that absolutly love Squidoo, but I have not one good thing to say about them (and I tried to think of something good to say, I really did!).
I love HubPages and look forward to being a"Hubber" for a long time, but I'll pass on becoming a "Squidooer"

From what I've seen, I also don't like the look of Squidoo- how's it set out. They do have more affiliates and a curious way of sharing adsense income though, from what I've read. Others are of the opinion that Squidoo doesn't get much traffic anyway.
Thanks for comparing the two and writing about it, I haven't checked out Squidoo but I've always wondered about it. I'm glad I chose Hubpages!
I am sorry you struggled with Squidoo. All my kids have lenses - even my 9 year old and my 16 year old made quite a few sales off his lenses over Christmas (and he is listed 4th on page 1 of Google for his keyword on his main selling lens).
I have read good comments on Squidoo lenses about Hubpages and so plan to sign up here too soon. I suspect I will enjoy them both.
